Former Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Löfven Delivers a Lecture at the Rwanda Peace Academy

Yesterday, H.E. Stefan Löfven the former Prime Minister of Sweden and the current Chair of Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) Governing Board, and the co-Chair of High-Level Advisory Board on Effective Multilateralism delivered a lecture entitled “Transformative Shifts for an Effective Multilateralism: Bridging the Gap between North and South” to military, police and civilian personnel from Rwanda, Somalia and Uganda, who are currently attending Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) Course at the Rwanda Peace Academy (RPA).
Mr. Ulf Löfven who travelled with him from Sweden also delivered a lecture entitled “Cybersecurity Considerations when Digitizing a Nation” to the same course participants. Mr. Ulf is the CEO of a consultancy business, the Scandinavian Collection AB. In their company also, was Lt Col Patrick Aronsson, the Defence Attaché of Sweden to South Africa, with accreditation to Rwanda.
H.E Stefan Lofven, and Ulf Löfven discussed areas of possible cooperation and collaboration with the Director of the RPA, Col (Rtd) Jill Rutaremara.
