Musanze – 18 March 2025

Today, a delegation composed of three officials from the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre (MLAILPKC), Nigeria, visited the Rwanda Peace Academy (RPA). Major General Ademola Taiwo Adedoja, the Commandant of the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre, led the delegation.  

The purpose of the visit was to study the role and function of the Rwanda Peace Academy as a regional peacekeeping training and research institution and to explore possible areas of bilateral cooperation.

The delegation was received and briefed by Colonel (Rtd) Jill Rutaremara, the Director of the RPA, on the rationale for the establishment of the Rwanda Peace Academy, the mission and objectives of the Academy, its programmes and activities, as well as its achievements.
